Hubro + Canvas
Hubro runs inside Canvas as an integrated tool. Students open the simulation from their Canvas course with no separate login, and simulation grades sync to the Canvas gradebook.
Hubro runs inside your learning management system. Students launch the simulation from the course they already use, with no extra login and no new platform to learn, and grades flow back to the gradebook. Here is what the integration does and how it gets set up.
Hubro integrates with Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and Brightspace through LTI, the standard for connecting an external tool to a learning management system. Students launch the simulation from inside their course with no separate login, assignments are delivered through the LMS, and grades sync back to the gradebook.
The integration is set up once per institution together with your LMS administrator. After that, any instructor can add the simulation to any course.
The same 4, with the same capabilities in each: single sign-on from the course, assignment delivery and grade sync.
Hubro runs inside Canvas as an integrated tool. Students open the simulation from their Canvas course with no separate login, and simulation grades sync to the Canvas gradebook.
Hubro runs inside Moodle as an integrated tool. Students open the simulation from their Moodle course with no separate login, and simulation grades sync to the Moodle gradebook.
Hubro runs inside Blackboard as an integrated tool. Students open the simulation from their Blackboard course with no separate login, and simulation grades sync to the Blackboard Grade Center.
Hubro runs inside Brightspace (D2L) as an integrated tool. Students open the simulation from their Brightspace course with no separate login, and simulation grades sync to the Brightspace gradebook.
Hubro is browser-based and needs nothing installed, so a shared link works with any setup: Teams, Google Classroom, itslearning, or no LMS at all. The integration adds convenience, not capability.
Students open the simulation from inside the course, with no separate registration, no password to reset in week 3, and no "which link was it" email.
Simulation assignments are delivered through the LMS, so deadlines, submissions and the simulation itself live in the 1 place students already check.
Quiz scores and assignment grades sync back to the LMS gradebook, so there is no end-of-term export and re-key.
The integration is a 1-time setup per institution, done between our team and your LMS administrator. After that, no instructor at your institution ever thinks about it again.
Send them this page, or send us their contact. If your institution already runs Hubro somewhere, the connection may already exist.
We provide a configuration URL, your administrator registers Hubro as an external tool in the LMS and shares the generated ID back, and we complete the connection on our side. A short exchange between 2 people, not an IT project.
Once the institution is connected, instructors pick Hubro from their course's tools, students launch it from there, and grades flow back. Every later course and semester reuses the same connection.
Not sure whether your institution is already connected? Ask us, it takes 1 email to find out. Administrators who want the technical details before starting can ask for those in the same email.
Ask about your institutionNo. Every Hubro simulation runs in the browser with nothing to install, and a shared registration link gets a class in just as fast. Both routes are fully supported.
Choose this when you want single sign-on, assignment delivery and gradebook sync in 1 place. It needs the institutional setup above, once.
Choose this when you want zero dependencies. Send the registration link, students join in the browser, and nothing has to be connected first.
Yes. Hubro runs inside Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and Brightspace, so students access the simulation through the learning setup your institution already uses, with assignments delivered and grades synced through the LMS.
No. When Hubro runs through your LMS, students launch the simulation from inside their course with no extra login and no new platform to learn.
Once. The integration is a 1-time institutional setup between your LMS administrator and the Hubro team. After that, instructors add the simulation to courses themselves, and students need no IT involvement at all.
A shared link works with any setup. Hubro is browser-based with nothing to install, so students can join from any LMS, or none, in 1 click.
Yes. Quiz scores and assignment grades sync back to your LMS gradebook, so there is no end-of-term export and re-key.
