What people practise

Build better business decision-makers

Hubro business simulations help employees understand how a company works as a connected system. Instead of only discussing business decisions, participants make them and learn from the results.

Business acumen

Understand how customers, revenue, costs, cash flow, operations and investment affect overall business performance.

Financial literacy

Practise financial statements, budgets, forecasting, profitability and investment decisions in a realistic business context.

Strategic thinking

Allocate limited resources, evaluate trade-offs and turn strategic priorities into concrete decisions.

Collaboration and leadership

Work across functions, challenge assumptions and agree on a shared direction under uncertainty.

How it works

How business simulation training works

  1. Run a virtual business

Participants work individually or in teams to analyze information, set a strategy and make management-level decisions.

  2. Experience the consequences

The simulation turns those decisions into results such as revenue, profit, market share, inventory and cash flow.

  3. Review and improve

Participants discuss what happened, identify why it happened and adjust their approach in the next round.

A facilitator can use each team's decisions and results to connect the experience back to your learning objectives and workplace.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a corporate business simulation?

A corporate business simulation is an experiential training activity in which employees manage a virtual company or business unit. They make decisions, receive simulated results and use the feedback to improve their approach.

How long does a business simulation take?

A simulation can run as a focused workshop, across several training sessions or as a self-paced experience. The right format depends on your learning objectives, audience and desired level of complexity.

Should we choose a ready-to-run or tailored simulation?

A ready-to-run simulation is usually the best option for established learning needs such as business acumen, financial literacy or strategic thinking. A tailored simulation is more suitable when employees need to practise decisions specific to your organization or industry.

Can our own facilitators run the simulation?

Yes. The simulation can be incorporated into your existing learning program and run by internal facilitators. Complete facilitated programs are also available through Hubro's business partners.
